⋯ › Settings › Back up library… makes one file with everything:
- every deck, with its pictures and sounds;
- everything you’ve learned, with the effort of each answer;
- your shelves, the archive and your settings.
Save it in Files, AirDrop it, or send it wherever you keep things. RectoVerso itself sends nothing anywhere. Your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud or a computer) include your library too.
To restore, use ⋯ › Settings › Restore from a backup…, or open the file with RectoVerso. Into an empty library it restores straight away. Otherwise it asks:
- Replace this library puts the backup’s decks, history and settings in place of what’s on this iPhone.
- Add its decks brings in the decks this iPhone doesn’t have, with their history. A deck that’s already here stays as it is.
A damaged backup, or one made by a newer version of RectoVerso, is refused, and nothing changes.
