Open an .apkg file from Files, Mail or Safari with “Open in RectoVerso”, or use + › Import Anki deck… (also in ⋯ › Settings). Each top-level Anki deck becomes a RectoVerso deck, its subdecks included.
What comes across: the cards, their pictures and sounds, and their schedule and review history. Importing a deck again updates the deck it made. What you studied in RectoVerso wins, and cards you wrote in that deck stay.
What doesn’t: RectoVerso tells you after the import, with a count for each.
- Image occlusion.
- Drawings a card’s template makes.
- Answers that are only a sound.
- Clozes that are empty.
- Pictures on the web rather than in the file.
- Sounds in Ogg, a format iOS can’t play (they’re kept, but don’t play).
